Archives, and sometimes even our homes, preserve traces of Italian colonialism in Africa and Albania. Starting from the collections preserved in the Alinari Archives and in the Marubi National Museum of Photography of Albania, the seminar intends to focus on the power of photographs in developing imaginary narratives still sending their echo from the past to the present times.
Uncomfortable tours is a project by Stazione Utopia, part of the Amir project, realised with the support of the Estate Fiorentina 2024 programme of the City of Florence.
