Alinari Foundation collaborates on the organization of the exhibition:
"L'OCCHIO DELLA SCIENZA" ("The Eye of Science"), open from November 12th 2022 to February 26th 2023, at two venues: Florence, Stibbert Museum, and Pisa, Museo della Grafica.

1839 marks the birth of photography and the beginning of a close and complex relationship between the new instrument and scientific practice. The camera becomes a fundamental resource for the research, documentation and divulgation of science.
The "L'occhio della scienza" ("The Eye of Science") exhibition aims to illustrate this cultural and scientific turning point with two exhibitions set up in Pisa and Florence.

GUIDED EXHIBITION TOURS →
For the exhibition “The Eye of Science. Giorgio Roster and Odoardo Beccari explorers of places and images”, a series of guided tours are available at Stibbert Museum in Florence, every Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
Visits can currently be booked for the period Saturday 26 November - Saturday 31 December.
Organised groups of at least 15 people can book their visit at different times.
